Our estates
The family estate boasts 85 hectares of agricultural area including vineyards (60 hectares), olive groves (15 hectares), arable land and fruit trees. The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Salemi and Santa Ninfa, in the middle of a vast area with a distinctly wine-growing focus between 150 to 450 meters above sea level.

Features
We added the cultivation of international varieties (Chardonnary, Muller Thurgau, Syrah, Merlot, Carbenet Sauvignon) to that of native’s (Inzolia, Cataratto, Grillo, Zibibbo, Nero d’Avola and Perricone). The olive groves are located in the municipality of Santa Ninfa at 450 meters above sea level, an area particularly suited to the production of extra virgin olive oil: the Belice Valley. The cultivar of our olive groves is Nocellara del Belice.
The company has small ponds that ensure the necessary water resources for the vineyards irrigation, especially in the driest years. This allows us to always keep the top quality of the hand-harvested grapes, to ensure the maximum respect for the plants and a better product selection. The use of wastewater reduces the company’s water impact. During the year, only “emergency” irrigation is used to maintain the quality of the grapes high. The exclusive use of organic farming techniques (green manure, ecological facilities, etc.) and the non-use of synthetic chemicals are the ultimate expression of the utmost care that the company pays to nature and consumers. The hand-harvested grapes reach the cellar quickly so as to be individually processed to enhance the peculiar organoleptic properties of each bunch. In 2011, the farm an important milestone: the “Bio” certification.
